Fast Dogfighter is a combat role performed by certain models of fighters, both aerospace and conventional, with a primary mission of interception followed by air-to-air engagement of target craft.

Description

Dogfighters are light or medium fighters tasked with providing the second "wave" in the interception of aggressor craft. In this role, they either engage the airspace violators that dodged the initial interceptors or unite with the interceptors already so engaged.

In Alpha Strike, a unit is identified as a Fast Dogfighter when it meets the following standards:
Speed: Fast-Medium
Range: Medium
Special: no requirements
