Hammond was a notable warrior in Clan Steel Viper's Rho Galaxy during the Clan Invasion.[1]
History[edit]
MechWarrior Hammond was a rare Clan warrior; originally a member of the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces, Hammond became a mercenary to fight the invading Clans and was taken as a bondsman by the Steel Vipers. Hammond earned warrior status but continually faced other Viper warriors who wanted to erase the "Inner Sphere taint" from their ranks. Their anger was further exacerbated by Hammond's control of a Battle Cobra, although he managed to defeat all who challenged him, both inside and outside the cockpit.[1]
