Harad Rafiki was a member of The Mahdi's Madmen, a small Pirates' Haven based pirate band, as of 3065.[1]
History[edit]
A practicing Muslim, Harad was the commander of The Mahdi's Madmen's Second Group of aerospace fighters, as of 3065. Operating from a secret base on Asteroid E755-3C within the Pirates' Haven cluster, Harad also helped to run the Madmen's intelligence network, which he used to identify targets for the struggling pirate band.
Sometime prior to February 3065, Harad's brother and fellow Madmen pilot Nariq Rafiki died during a raid on the Federated Suns, which Harad blamed on the Madmen's leader Mustafa al-Tariq. During the planning by al-Tariq of a subsequent raid on a Davion mining transport on 8 February, whose cargo was valuable enough to help restore the Madmen's fortunes, Harad was secretly planning revenge on al-Tariq for abandoning his brother.[1]

Harad was known to have piloted a Stuka aerospace fighter.[1]
