Sir James Coker was the commanding officer of the Defenders of Andurien as of 3025.[1]
History[edit]
Major General Coker served as commander of the Defenders of Andurien for more than half of Duchess Catherine Humphreys reign and was known both for being a strict drillmaster and for having a keen eye for detail. While many other Free Worlds League Military commanders mocked him for a personal lack of combat experience and for applying textbook tactics to practical warfare, Coker's training methods were respected for producing physically-fit and mentally-vital soldiers. Likewise, the training simulations he concocted were known for lacking urgency but were still well-crafted and taught trainees important lessons. It was for these reasons that Coker's presence was tolerated by Andurien's court, although he remained largely unliked just the same.[1]
