James MacInnish was a member of Northwind Highlanders during the Third Succession War.[1]
History[edit]
Originally a BattleMech technician, MacInnish received enough training to actually pilot 'Mechs, largely just to move the behemoths to and from their repair gantries. As personnel losses mounted for the Highlanders as the Third Succession War dragged on, the unit turned to any members of the Highlander family who could pilot a 'Mech to allow them to remain combat viable including those with only the barest training like MacInnish. Leaping at the chance to become an actual MechWarrior, James MacInnish eagerly embraced his new career.[1]
