Kenneth Long was an Scout Armor Commander, known for preferring unarmed Pegasus scout hovertanks.

Long preferred unarmed scout vehicles, as he believed they were less likely to be attacked by opposing forces, and thus safer for crews. However due to the six crew members killed across three lost vehicles, his surviving colleagues generally do not share his belief. They consider the unarmed vehicles are more likely to be attacked, including by units which would otherwise be deterred by the vehicle's weapons, such as the Ferret VTOL which was credited with destroying one of Long's Pegasi.[1]
Vehicle[edit]
Parr was known to pilot variants of the Pegasus scout hovertank which were without offensive weapons. He had at least three of these vehicles, all nicknamed "Dove", which were destroyed by enemy fire.[1]
