The TNS Luftenburg was a Luftenburg-class Naval Vessel in service to the Lyran Commonwealth on Tharkad.[1]
History[edit]
The first in a line of blue water supercarriers used on Tharkad, Donegal, and a dozen other worlds, the Luftenburg was one of the largest carriers known to exist. Its usage declined during the Succession Wars as the means to maintain it grew more limited, and it became inactive at some point before 2920.[1]
Some Luftenburg-class ships were refitted and reactivated starting in 3055, made possible by recovered technologies,[1] and at least one supercarrier survived the Jihad, although it is unknown if the Luftenburg was one of them.[2][3]
