Luke's Linebackers was a mercenary unit formed by Luke Milton. By June 3095, the small unit had completed dozens of contracts, but was perpetually on the edge of bankruptcy.[1] That month, on Paradise, an attack on other mercenaries guarding a datachip-holding box ended in failure, losing the Linebackers two MechWarriors and pushing the unit's 'Mechs out of commission. As an alternative, several members of the unit, led by the CO, snuck aboard the Mule-class DropShip Rampant Expense to steal the box. The result of their attempt is unknown.[2]
