Cashiered from the Skye Rangers for advocating secession and Skye independence, Lieutenant Schwartz spent several years as a top-ranked hover-racer at the famed Burlingrad Hoverdome before returning to military life as a mercenary. Schwartz remained addicted to speed (and the illegal stimulant "Spazz") and was constantly pressing his technicians to find ways to further boost his 'Mech's acceleration. With Lindon's Regiment under contract to the Federated Commonwealth, Schwartz was strongly advised to keep his politics to himself.[1]
