Sergeant Harris participated in Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG during the Fourth Succession War, being part of the Mercenary force contracted by the Lyran Commonwealth which conquered Wheel from the Draconis Combine in August 3028, defeating the Tooth of Ymir in a honorable set-piece battle conducted under the "old rules" of Inner Sphere mercenary warfare.[1]

Phillip Harris was known to have piloted a Shadow Hawk BattleMech.[1]
