Pingree Fever was an often-fatal disease, which left even survivors emaciated and with weakened constitutions.
A notable sufferer was Star League Defense Force General Amalthia Kincaid, who contracted Pingree Fever at age 25 around 2565. While Kincaid lived through the disease, she was permanently weakened, and had to leave front-line military roles for staff positions thereafter.[1]
