Regulus for the People! was a revolutionary movement on Regulus at the time of Anton's Revolt.[1]
Overview[edit]
During the chaos of Anton's Revolt, Free Man Jude Melancon led a group of Regulus for the People! supporters to seized a Lance of BattleMech, in a nighttime assault on the personal guard of a Baronetess. The movement fractured however, due to internal politics and inability to master the poorly maintained captured 'Mechs.
Melancon was ultimately betrayed to SAFE by his compatriots, and the rest of the group was hunted down by the Regulan Hussars, though Melancon's name (in the tagline "Melancon Lives!") remained an inspiration for Regulan university students and wannabe revolutionaries until at least 3150.[1]
