Description[edit]
This non-canon Salvage Box was announced as a 2024 April Fools' product at AdeptiCon. It was first made available for purchase on May 10, 2024 through the Catalyst Game Labs online store. The box contains three unpainted miniatures, each representing the UrbanMech LAM in one of its three Land-Air BattleMech modes.
Canonicity[edit]
This April Fools' Product is expressly not canon and in no way meant to suggest that the UrbanMech LAM would canonically exist within the BattleTech universe.
Also, because of this explicit ruling the UrbanMech LAM cannot be construed as apocryphal either since it is not intended as a canonical product.

Non-canon pilot card characters[edit]
- Bryn Bills
Bryn Bills piloted a custom-built stunt version of the UrbanMech LAM, the S-UM-1XLA. It was a popular attraction at live events, and frequently displayed many exciting abilities. He was the star of Megaton 'Mech, a superhero comedy/drama/documentary series. He tended to ignore his critics' opinions, and instead focused on his large fanbase as he hoped for prestigious awards in the arts and cinema. (This character was apparently named after Bryn K. Bills.)
- Tate Fredascior
Tate Fredascior piloted an UrbanMech LAM that he was quoted to have called Urbanus Maximus. He would state, after many drinks, that the 'Mech was a prototype he obtained from an extinct volcano that had a "pseudo-sentient AI" control system, and that it was capable of hypersonic flight. He claimed to be a descendant of ComStar Primus Lisa Koenigs-Cober. (This character's name may be a tuckerization of Fred Tatasciore, a voice actor who portrays a sentient volcano and other characters in Star Trek: Lower Decks, as well as characters in multiple Marvel shows, other cartoons and anime productions, and numerous video games.)
