The Grammar of Violence: Combat as Culture in Clan Society

The Grammar of Violence: Combat as Culture in Clan Society was a book written by Erick Oehlert published by ComStar Press in 3067.[1]

Overview[edit]

The book offers an examination of Clan society, focusing particularly on their system of Trials and tests. The author conducts a historical comparison of the Clan system with several ancient and early modern societies trying not to oversimplify or vilify Kerensky's descendants. The book also offers an examination of sports as a pressure valve for inappropriately aggressive tendencies among the Warrior Caste and even makes an attempt to correlate Scientist Caste practices with medieval trial by ordeal justice.[1]
