An American based BattleTech fan, player and Demo Agent (#1220). His surname, Mooney, was chosen at random to be the character Star Commander Mooney in the novel Hour of the Wolf by the author.

Previously, Joe was a battlemaster/demo agent for the Wizkids Mechwarrior game.

Joe, whose Classic BattleTech forum handle and Sarna handle is "lethewaters25", has also submitted various pieces of artwork and short stories for use in Shrapnel. These pieces are still pending.
