Major General Vladimir Jeong was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 279th Royal Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

Assigned to the Magistracy of Canopus world of Megarez, Jeong established a de-facto pirate kingdom, with his troops focusing on debauchery and extortion from the local population. Jeong assumed the role of a Mafia don, running interference so that SLDF authorities could not crack down on the crime spree, while not participating in the nefarious activities himself directly.[1]
