The FSS Bowfin was a Neptune-class Naval Vessel in service to the Federated Suns on New Ivaarsen.[1]

History

In 3021, the Bowfin defended a command post on New Ivaarsen against a lance of Dragons from the Fifth Galedon Regulars in a three-hour battle in murky water offshore. The Bowfin would later attack, and be forced to retreat from, a heavily defended Draconis Combine shoreline supply base that turned out to be a decoy. Ensign Henry Larson, who inspired the victory against the Dragons, would die in the battle. His son Jonathan Larson would be awarded command of the Bowfin in 3033.[1]
