Overview[edit]
This work provided an outline of conflicts between soliders and the bureaucracies which were supposed to support them, from the perspective of Colonel Hempsted, a notably successful Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces officer during the First Succession War. In it, Hempsted offered a dim view of Lyran High Command, and their overly ambitious goals.[1]
