Basic Strategy was one of three books were the other two rumored to have been written by Jaime Wolf and distributed to his troops in Wolf's Dragoons in the early 31st century. The other two were Basic Tactics and Principles of Modern Warfare.[1]

Comstar, while believing the books actually existed, had not recovered a copy as of 3030.[1]
