History
The 1st Capella Dragoons originated from the guards of the Duke of Kathil during the Second Succession War (2830 - 2864).
In 3009 the regiment was sold to the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns under the condition, that the respective Duke of Kathil could buy it back anytime.
In 3061 political turmoil was happening on Kathil, as the official military chain of command collided with orders issued directly by Katherine Steiner-Davion.
