The Twenty-ninth CAAN Marine Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the Twenty-ninth was assigned, as a part of the II Corps, Twelfth Army, to District 2 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[1] The Twenty-ninth joined the rebels during the Periphery Uprising,[1] siding with the Magistracy of Canopus in 2766; the Twenty-ninth survived the Uprising, and in 2785 the regiment was disbanded and used to reactivate the First and Second Canopian Light Horse.[2]

As an SLDF CAAN regiment the Thirty-eighth would have been formed from a mixture of BattleMechs, tanks, hovercraft, fighters, and blue-water warships.[3]
