The Eighth Sun Zhang Academy Cadre was one of the Sun Zhang MechWarrior Academy's prestigious cadre units. Cadets assigned to the unit are put to the ultimate test by seeing real combat. Like all Sun Zhang Cadres, the Eighth was a free-floating regiment with no supporting regiments attached.

History

In 2786, the Eighth Sun Zhang Academy Cadre was stationed on Minakuchi and considered a "Medium" Regiment. The Eighth remained on Minakuchi until the beginning of the First Succession War.[1][2]

Succession Wars

First Succession War

The Eighth Sun Zhang Academy Cadre participated in the fighting of the First Succession War. At some time during the war, the Eighth was destroyed.[2]
