A Face Full of Blades is a collection of five previously published short stories by Loren Coleman in electronic format. The stories are connected through their central character, "The Unnamed Soldier", a mercenary infantryman on Solaris VII and acquaintance or even friend of Erik Gray.
The individual stories were written for different projects, and according to the author himself in the introduction he didn't realize until the third story that the protagonist had no name.

- As he was not under the respective original publications' wording restrictions for this anthology, the author took the opportunity to slightly expanded some of the stories over their original version.
