Paladin
In 3135 he was in New Aragon trying to calm local authorities of their worry of a Capellan Confederation, telling them this had been commented along other Paladins, David McKinnon among them.[1][2]
Lord Governor
By 3145, Kessel had been removed from the ranks of the Paladins by Devlin Stone, on the basis his skills were more political than military.[3] His replacement role, more suited to his political skills, was as Lord Governor of Prefecture X, in its guise of Fortress Republic.[4]
