During the Capellan Confederation's Operation CELESTIAL REWARD in 3144, Chapman and the First Federated Suns Armored Cavalry helped to defend Almach, initially successfully against the attacking Third Sian Dragoons and First Tikonov Guards. The arrival of Capellan reinforcements in the form of the Red Lancers however shattered Chapman's forces, resulting in her pulling back to Tawas to attempt repairs.[2][3][4]
