Citizens for Peace and Prosperity was, as of 3133, a peace activist group on Towne.[1]
History
In the wake of the Blackout, Citizens for Peace and Prosperity, led by its president Alexis Huang, tried to prevent Towne's turn towards military manufacturing. Along with the Hope Foundation, the group applied for injunctions to prevent Connor Industrial Ltd. from converting its Fairfax factory to artillery production. As of 17 February 3133, these efforts had failed, with the Towne Supreme Court strongly rejecting them.[1]
Citizens for Peace and Prosperity took a strict antimilitary position, expressed in strong terms of light and darkness and the inherent evil of armies.[1]
