History

Amaris Civil War

Cutler's Vagabonds was a mercenary unit around the time of the Amaris coup who fought to defend Terra.[1]

When the Eighth Army arrived to the mountainous and heavily rainforested island of Borneo, they found that Cutler's Vagabonds not only used human shields but also terrorized the population into fighting their battles for them, holding family members hostage or otherwise inducing individuals to conduct terrorist attacks against the SLDF invaders.[1]

Context strongly implies that the Burning Tygers were among the roughly eight divisions of mercenaries that Stefan Amaris used to secure his iron grip over the realm after his coup, though who exactly technically hired them is not spelled out.

The unit was probably wiped out during the battle for Terra.[citation needed]
