Cynthia Varnay was betrothed to Alexander Davion at the age of five [1] as a political tool by David Varnay. She fell in love with Alexander Davion[2], enabled his escape and born him 3 children, before her death in a kidnapping.[3]

Cynthia was betrothed to Alexander when she was five and he seven, as part of the political maneuvering within the Council of Regents, by her Uncle David Varnay. At the age of 15, she married Alexander Davion on New Syrtis early in 2524. She become pregnant in August of 2524 and discovered her uncle's plans for the death of Alexander. Informing her husband, the two made plans for his escape. She informed anti-Varnay elements of Alexander's tour through the Capellan March and allowed for his escape on Sekulmun.[4] In May of 2525 she gave birth Vincent on New Syrtis. In 2527, she and Vincent were released by Cassandra and travelled with General Boefers to Nahoni.[5]. Finally, she was killed by stray laser fire during a botched kidnapping by General Rostov in 2540.[3]
