David Kendal was a Force Commander of Second Battalion, First Oriente Hussars.[1]

Force Commander David "Dingo" Kendal is a graduate of the Princefield Military Academy where he became close friends with Roger Harsila. When Harsila took command of the First Oriente Hussars and a battalion commander slot opened, he pushed Kendal to take the position. Already a first rate officer, Harsila then spent the next five years grooming Kendal for regimental command, it was expected Kendall would take over the Third Oriente Hussars when Colonel Vandy Jolibois retired. That was not to be however, command of the Third passed to another Simon Dumoss and Kendal stayed on with Second Battalion.[1]
