Far-Lookers

The Far-Lookers, or the Creed of the Far-Lookers, are a relatively recently established philosophical movement found mainly within the Taurian Concordat. Founded by Aramis Dunn in the late 30th century, the Far-Lookers believe that humanity is not meant to remain solely in the Inner Sphere or near Periphery, but rather to expand into the galaxy. They believe that the human spirit is most fulfilled through exploration and pioneering.

During the 31st century, the Far-Lookers attempted to establish colonies on many planets on the spinward Hyades Rim, a region referred to as the Calderon Protectorate. Many of these colonies were not viable, but in this short time the Far-Lookers were able to successfully colonize more than 20 systems.
