As of early 3028, Trent was a member of the Command Lance, Summers's Company of Charlie Battalion. Following the Battle of Misery Trent's lance joined Delta Regiment's Third Provisional Company, as part of which he went on to also fight in the Battle of Crossing, where he was badly injured.[1]

Trent was known to pilot a Thunderbolt BattleMech, which remained serviceable despite his injuries on Crossing.[1]
