Overview

Hamar is covered largely with ice and only a few volcanoes break through the surface. Large metal deposits and other raw materials exist on the planet which explains the presence of the Jarnfolk. The mines are located in the mountain ranges and could only exist by the use of special equipment to generate a livable environment for the workers. Food is produced locally by farmers in the lowlands. Both groups trade intensively with each other and sometimes violence erupts.
