Description

The Hatamoto series of BattleMechs was one of the first fielded by the DCMS that utilized advanced materials. The 'Mech was first deployed by the DCMS in 3039 on An Ting. The Hatamotos are a serious modification to the Wells Technologies Charger model. They do not reflect the parent design; more they resemble an historical samurai warrior. Two distinctive features carried over from the Charger are the lack of a left hand and the broad shoulders.

Armament

The base Hatamoto, the Chi, is armed with twin PPCs and twin SRM-6s. Both SRMs have a ton of ammo each, and CASE is installed in both side torsos, in order to protect the ammo stored there. Eighteen single heat sinks keep the 'Mech fairly cool in combat.
