Description

The Hatamoto series of battlemechs was one of the first fielded by the DCMS that utilized advanced materials. The mech was first deployed by the DCMS in 3039 on An Ting. The Hatamoto's are a serious modification to Wells Technologies Charger series of battlemech.

The Hatamoto's do not resemble the parent desgin at all, they look more like a Samurai than anything else. One distictive feature carried over from the Charger is the lack of a left hand, and the broad shoulders.

Armament

The base Hatamoto, the Chi, is armed with twin PPC's and twin SRM-6's. Both SRM's have a ton of ammo each, and CASE is installed in both side torosos to protect the ammo stored there. 18 SHS keep the mech fairly cool in combat.
