The Nelson family are probably most famous for the creation of the Twelfth Vegan Rangers mercenary unit, at some point between the turn of the century and 3025 command of the Rangers passed to a member of House Douglass, presumably so that the Nelson family could dedicate more time to their holdings.[1] Despite not commanding the Rangers anymore a member of the family commanded the Aerospace Brigade of the 5th Robinson Strikers in 3145.[2]
