An officer with extensive experience commanding at a Corps level, Nadrasana led XXXII Corps and XXXV Corps in Fifteenth Army, before being assigned as CO of Fourteenth Army's VIII Corps. Not politically connected, Nadrasana was not expected to rise to Army command, but he remained happy with his advancement to a more prestigious unit.[1]
