Foot soldiers of any established military force. Some units are permanently assigned armored vehicles and termed Mechanized Infantry. Other units are equipped with jump-packs and designated Jump Infantry.
Consistently disrespected by Inner Sphere Mechwarriors, the advent of the Elemental brought infantry to the forefront once again.
Types & Sub-types of Infantry formations
Infantry formations are broken down to method of travel, size (platoon or Clan point) and weaponry used. Weaponry can be customized, however typical weapons are: (Rifle, Laser, Flamer, Machine Gun (MG), SRM (Short Range Missiles), Field Guns.)
