History[edit]

Jürgen Mauer was from the Lyran Commonwealth, and a handsome man, of average height, maybe a shade under one meter eighty with an athletic build. His towhead hair was cropped short and framed a strong Nordic face. He was an Independent Gladiator, mostly remembered for his fight in 18 February 3064 in the Grand Melee organized by Freak Show Entertainment in their arena: Grayland Gardens. The fight was to pit twelve MechWarriors with 'Mechs between light and Assault class.

He quickly found David Singh in his Grasshopper and nearly crushed his rear armor. While fighting a thirteenth MechWarrior appears, Kiichi Omata at the hands of a new Assault 'Mech: a Kodiak 2. David lured Omata to attack and destroy Jürgen Mauer, which he did using his immense firepower and jump jets.[1]

Tactics[edit]

Jürgen Mauer was brave and honest, a gutsy MechWarrior who would hang on during a fight that wasn't going his way. But he wasn't particularly imaginative. And it was that characteristic that would keep him out of the Grand Tournament forever.[1]

BattleMechs[edit]

He piloted a ZEU-6S Zeus.[1]
