Colonel Jamal Fallehy was an officer and MechWarrior with the Twenty-first Striker Regiment of the Eridani Light Horse during the thirty-first century.[1][2][3]

History[edit]

Early Life[edit]

As a child, Fallehy was found abandoned in a city on a Lyran Commonwealth world, and was adopted by the Eridani Light Horse. He grew up steeped in Eridani traditions, and became a believer in the eventual return to the Inner Sphere of Commanding General Aleksandr Kerensky, spending much of his time researching the history of the Star League Defense Force.[1]

Fourth Succession War[edit]

As of 3025, Fallehy was a major commanding the Third Striker Battalion of the Twenty-first Striker Regiment. Though ambitious for further advancement at this stage, he was not willing to compromise his code of honor to get ahead, including rejecting an offer by Duke Michael Hasek-Davion of a senior role in the Syrtis Fusiliers.[1]

While still in this role, as well as being Regimental Executive Officer, during the Fourth Succession War on 12 January 3029 Fallehy participated in the Eridani Light Horse's ambush of Warrior House Hiritsu on the Federated Suns world of Kawich. Both he and his commander Colonel Charles Winston were injured during this battle, leaving his battalion and the Twenty-first Striker Regiment in theory under the temporary command of Captain Cynthia Paulson, and in practice under the even more junior Rowan Avellar.[3]

This lapse in command structure was however considered embarrassing by First Prince Hanse Davion, leading to a cover story being published[3], which reported Fallehy assumed command of the Twenty-first Striker Regiment following Colonel Winston being knocked out of the fight.[4]

War of 3039[edit]

By the War of 3039, Fallehy was a colonel and the commanding officer of the Twenty-first Striker Regiment. During this conflict the Twenty-first Striker Regiment participated in the invasion of Fellanin II, fighting against the Fourth Proserpina Hussars. In the course of a surprise attack launched by Hussars around the city of Luceré, Fallehy was killed, the highest profile casualty of the Eridani Light Horse from this lost battle.[5]

BattleMech[edit]

Jamal Fallehy piloted a Hunchback BattleMech.[2]
