MechWarrior Janos Arthur Denton III was a Lyran Commonwealth MechWarrior assigned to a recon lance of the Seventeenth Arcturan Guards as of 3039.[1][2]

History
House Denton was well known within the Lyran Commonwealth, though it was never revealed how they acquired their family BattleMech, a rare Clint.[3] Janos was however, like his father, an urban combat specialist who enjoyed close in battles (particularly against Draconis Combine Panthers).[1]
BattleMech
Janos was known to pilot a Clint BattleMech, nicknamed "JAD" like himself. This 'Mech was passed down from his father Janos Arthur Denton II, and survived to be passed on to his descendant in turn, including Janos Arthur Denton V.[3][4]
Janos Arthur Denton III modified the family 'Mech to have a large laser and extra heatsinks.[1][2]
