Overview
The unit a resistence unit to Capellan Confederation. Formed by Tormana Liao, as part of the means to retake Confederacy for himself from his sister Romano Liao and later her son Sun Tzu Liao.

From 3064 to 3067 the unit has been constinately training and homing their ablities. The Regiment deployed its Third Battalion to Grand Base where it fough Warrior House Lu Sann disguised a Taurian Raiders. The raid successfully, the 'Mechs and equiptment from world's warehouses. The 3rd attempted against for second raid which turn distastrous, leaving unit severely losses.[1]

Operation: Sovereign Justice, Thunderstrike & its destruction
The unit joined the Duke George Hasek military campaign (Operation: Sovereign Justice) to invade the Capellan Confederation in 3068 to reclaim St Ives Compact.

In October, the 5th Confederation Reserve Cavalry & Death Commando invade the planet as part first wave of Operation: Thunderstrike. The Legion was annilihated by both loyalist Capellan.[2]
