Leona Peterson was the commanding officer of the First Conroe Training Battalion as of 3062.[2]

Kommandant Peterson, serving with the First Conroe Training Battalion, was stationed on Tancredi IV in 3062. Herself a graduate of the First Conroe just before the Fourth Succession War, Peterson worked hard to overcome the prejudices that surrounded regional training units. Winning the Robinson Medal of Valor for her actions on Niles and her subsequent rise to command of the First Conroe, Peterson exemplified the value of regional units.[2] After the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, now-Colonel Peterson commanded the First Kittery Training Battalion on Kittery by 3067.[1]
