Lyev Sokolov was a soldier in the mercenary unit Roger's Rippers, and one of the survivors of the unit's collapse. An adrenaline junkie with a wide range of personal combat skills, Sokolov was part of the Rippers' battle armor detachment. He was a tough, fearless man, whose hobbies included street racing and rock climbing.[1]
Eventually, due to DropShip trouble, on an unknown date during the Dark Age Era the remnants of Roger's Rippers found themselves stranded on Botany Bay. There, they were hired to hunt down a local pirate, Serena Yang.[2] Whether this mission succeeded is unknown.
