History[edit]
Kearny-Fuchida Equations[edit]
A part of a high-energy physics team at the Czech Technical University, in May 2102 Marshik's team was one of those who published a validation of Thomas Kearny and Takayoshi Fuchida's Pan-Dimensional Gravitational Mathematics, though he missed out on greater prestige by only being the fourth team to release their results publicly.[2]
JumpShip Development[edit]
Undeterred, and with the assistance of fellow House Marik family members within the Terran Alliance bureaucracy, Marik however became a key player in the development of the first practical robot JumpShip. This led to him being present in Mission Control for the Deimos Project's first experimental jump in 2107, as well as when the first extra-solar voyage to New Earth occurred.[1]
Private JumpShip Construction[edit]
Using his scientific and business know-how, following the authorization of private JumpShip construction by the Terran Alliance Parliament in 2123, Marshik became one of Terra's richest and most influential industrialists over the next decade off the back of his JumpShip business.[1]
Colonization of Marik[edit]
This success was not however enough for Marshik, and desiring to restore House Marik to its noble origins, in 2156 he founded a colony on his namesake world Marik.[3]
