As of early 3028, Kirby was a member of Command Lance, Gordon's Company of Baker Battalion. Following the Battle of Misery, where she was the sole surviving MechWarrior from Gordon's Company, Kirby joined the Command Lance of Epsilon Regiment's Second Provisional Company.[1]

Kirby was known to pilot a Crusader BattleMech.[1]
