Muskegon Coalition

Muskegon Empire - Pre-Age of War interstellar nation that existed between 2177 to 2318. The nation consisted of coalition of six worlds colonized by dictator leadership lead from the world of Muskegon.

History

Accidental Colonization of Muskegon

The empire roots comes from it founding on what became Muskegon. In 2163, a JumpShip carrying a large colony expedition to the world of McHenry had a misjump. Which the ship displaced into Muskegon's solar system. The planet self-being was shown to be barely habitable. It was felt by the command crew of the disabled JumpShip, that it was ging take harsh measures. They felt that strict leadership for colony to survive brutal conditions in such place. Being control of the vital systems of ship itself, lead to them succeeding taking control of situation. Where they landed 1 million colonist on the forbidding planet.

Within generation of restrictive if not dictator rule. The society of the planet developed two classes of people. The JumpShip's company became the aristocrats known as Crew Class, where themselves passengers became workers of the Colonist Class. The supreme leadership of the colony itself, became known as the Office of the Expedition Commander, which given holder the title of Commander of Musekgon.

The colony survived and prospered under the restrictive rule of leadership and harshness of the planet. These allowed for its technological knowledge to be retained, waiting day planet's industrialies come online.

The Empire is born

By 2177, the technicians manage to repair the colony's JumpShip. The volunteer are brought together to use the ship seek a better world for the colony moved to. The JumpShip discovers two nearby worlds, Beten Kaitos and Emerson. The worlds were found to be rich in resources, but environmently as bad as Muskegon itself.

Muskegon leadership send political prisoners & deportees to colonized Emerson, while volunteers from population leave to settle on Beten Kaitos. From efforts of the colonies, raw materials used to create additional JumpShips, and other support craft to colonize other worlds. Members of the Crew Class are selected to be governors on these Crew Class dominated worlds.

By 2190, the Muskegon Empire encumbrance six planets, under the direct leadership of Commander of Muskegon.

However, Emerson's ties with Muskegon were not strong, due to its exiled criminals and political prisoners sent there live. Despite this, Emerson became important world to the Empire. This happened when a Chesterton Trade vessel arrived at world in 2195 and this help established planet as trade world with Chesterton.

Joining of Federated Suns, break up of Empire

The Empire in 2318, joined Federated Suns, year after its formation hoping to strength their position.
