Osmina "Aello" Deveraux was a former mercenary and pirate operating during the Clan Invasion era.[1]

History[edit]

Born on the Free Rasalhague Republic world of Svelvik, Osmina found herself shackled as much by her her childhood farm as her assigned sex at birth, dreaming of a life of freedom among the stars. Fate would smile upon her when she discovered the salvageable wreckage of an unimaginably rare Wasp LAM, trading her services to the Glory Warriors mercenary unit for repair parts to restore it to operation.[1]

When Clan Wolf struck the Glory Warrior's station of Skallevoll during the Clan Invasion, Osmina flew escort for the final DropShip evacuating the planet, able to escape the Wolves but her LAM suffering heavy damage in the process. With the Glory Warriors also shattered and rendering her unemployed, Osmina would ultimately join Ryan's Rebels as a Contract Flight Instructor, teaching the pilots of the New Belt Pirates anti-Clan tactics.[1]

BattleMech[edit]

Osmina Deveraux would own a WSP-100b Wasp LAM, an even more rare version of an already uncommon piece of military hardware built for exclusively for the Star League Defense Force's elite "Blackhearts". While ensuring her escape from Skallevoll, Deveraux was forced to mothball the heavily damaged Land-Air Mech.[1]
