Lieutenant General Philo "Beancounter" Potts was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 270th Mechanized Infantry Division from 2763 to at least 2764.[1][2]

A brilliant career logistics officer, Potts was promoted to temporary command of the 270th Mechanized Infantry Division, after a bandit raid killed most of its senior officers. His time in the role was however extended, after his intended permanent replacement Major General Nassar Maloof was reassigned to the 166th Mechanized Infantry Division, which was in an even more chaotic state following a Capellan Confederation sponsored terrorist bombing in 2763.
Despite managing to keep the Division running, Potts was waiting to be relieved of command as of 2764, while Major General Roseleen McGuiness and General Tatjana Baptiste sought a suitable replacement.[2]
