Description
Renewing the Mad Cat legend, the Mk IV used some of the most powerful configurations of its grand brother, while also incorporating easier-to-find and -replace components. Clan Sea Fox expected to experience the same success with this model, as it had with previous ones.
Armament
This 'Mech used the same weapons loadout previously seen on the Timber Wolf's alternate configuration D: twin ER PPCs provide a strong energy punch at long range, while four Streak SRM-6 deal a similarly powerful short range punch. Just as with that configuration, two Streak SRM-6 were mounted facing to the rear, providing the design with a 360° fire arc. An ER Small Laser was also sported.
Variants
Configurations
- MCT-V4 - This 'Mech has the same profile as the original Timber Wolf configuration D, but under a new chassis to allow the ER PPC in each arm to fully rotate which can shoot behind. From this new step in the next generation, the Savage Wolf has a lower profile than the other older generation of Timber Wolf series, while maintaining menacing appearance. Each missile housing is able to elevate and depress independent for any angle, as to a the fix position from previous generation. Released for sale in 3136 by Clan Sea Fox by Petr Kalasa, OvKhan of Spina Khanate.
