Description
Jade Falcons answer to the Wolves heavy Tundra Wolf, the Shrike has become popular with commanders for its heavy and accurate weapons. Its distinctive wings, common with later Jade Falcon designs from the revitalization of the 3110s, allow the Shrike to dissipate heat almost as fast as it gains it. However, this 'Mech, like the Gyrfalcon, quickly rise in temperature and need to be piloted with heat management care, despite wing dissipation.
Armament
The Shrike is outfitted with a powerful targeting computer that allows it to bring accurate firepower to bear on the battlefield.
Variants
A variant replaces the ER Large Lasers with ER Medium Lasers allowing the autocannons to be upgraded to Ultra AC/10s. Another unofficial variant is fielded by Malvina Hazen and Jennifer Braille (a Solaris VII MechWarrior) what replace both autocannons by a pair of ER PPCs. The first appearance was said to be the result of a combat against a Hatchetman 'Mech the "Black Rose" (Malvina's 'Mech) suffered.
